White Rose Sewing Room offers a comprehensive range of services . We specialise in working with our clients to help them visualise their finished project. We then create everything in our dedicated workroom based in the beautiful village of Askham Richard.
From first concept, right through to final installation and fitting, White Rose Sewing Room will take care of your whole project.

HOME VISIT
Selecting the correct window treatment is about much more than just choosing a pretty fabric! At our initial home visit we aim to discuss ideas with you and find out about how you intend to use your room. We will use our expertise to identify any potential restrictions or other issues.
We will also look at how light affects the room, and how warm or cold the room is. Only then will we start to look through fabrics, guiding you every step of the way to make the right choice, using our expert knowledge of what is available. Precise measurements will then be taken to ensure the perfect fit.
MANUFACTURE BY HAND
Once decisions have been made, fabrics, linings and all other components are ordered and the hand sewing begins. From interlocked linings and mitred corners with lead weights, to individually hand stitched pleated headings, everything is hand crafted with the utmost care and attention in our dedicated York based workroom. Once complete our curtains are hung and dressed in our workroom, where they will remain prior to delivery. Likewise our Roman blinds are hung and fully tested to ensure smooth operation once delivered and fitted.
DELIVERY AND FITTING
Delivery of all our products is included in our price, as well as hanging and dressing of curtains. In addition we offer a fully insured fitting service, so if you should choose a new pole or track from our extensive range, or if you have opted for Roman blinds or pelmets, then these can be installed at the same time as delivery.
